The Okavango is the world’s largest inland delta.  It is subject to seasonal flooding which makes for a variety of wildlife whatever the season.

It is perhaps the birds for which the true wetland areas of the Okavango Delta are best known.  Home to many bird species, such as Pel’s Fishing-Owl and the Slaty Egret, which are common.
